Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and alerting, support and some deployment services of the technology production environment, ensuring the availability and stability of the IT production environment and adhering to processes and procedures.
  
• Monitoring and alerting of Technologies including networks, storage, cloud services, virtualization, servers and OS, databases, middleware and business applications
  
• Perform 1st level support duties including incident resolution and escalation to 2nd level support
  
• Perform predefined and ad-hoc tasks based on instructions from staff
  
• Update the existing knowledge base
  
• Troubleshooting and supporting the investigation of incidents, documenting technical issues, solutions and support information
  
• Operating best practices for BAU (Infrastructure/Applications)
  
• Performing "ready-for-business" checks of business applications and monitoring and support of batch jobs
  
• Acting as gatekeepers to the production environment and raising risks when appropriate
