Building Manager

Description:

At your new position you will be in charge for the operation of a large office building. You will manage a building team, our subcontractors and keep the relations to the tenants of the building. Furthermore, you will set up building plans, procedures and follow up their execution. The target of your work is an unobstructed function of the building.

Your Profile:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Architecture
• More than 3 years of management experience is a plus
  
• Comprehensive knowledge about properties and electrical and mechanical systems of the facility is a plus
  
• Excellent knowledge of verbal and written English, German language is a plus
  
• Advanced PC literacy is a must
  
• Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
  
• Practical, flexible and innovative approach to work
  
• Developed interpersonal and communication skills
  
• The ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  
• Team work skills and the ability to lead and motivate others
  
• Problem solving skills
  

Responsibility:

• Managing building activities and tenant’s requests
  
• Project management, supervising and coordinating the work of contractors
  
• Provide prompt response to requests and issues from tenants
  
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes
  
• Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations
  
• Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency
  
• Supervision of agreed work by staff or contractors ensuring it has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies
