Glovo is a Barcelona-based start-up that is transforming consumer access to local goods, enabling anyone to get almost any product delivered in less than 60 minutes. We are present in Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, and many more to come!

Glovo's on-demand mobile application connects customers with independent local couriers, who acquire goods from any restaurant or shop in the city and also deliver urgent packages for a variable fee. As the Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for building and developing partnerships from scratch with restaurants, subsidies, pharmacies, etc. and growing their numbers on the platform while delivering on aggressive sales and growth targets.

In this role you will be part of the Sales Team at Glovo, working closely with the Sales Director for your region.


You will:

  • Build a partner portfolio from scratch and negotiate the best products in your city to deliver it to our customers
  • Lead from the front in closing deals, on-boarding them and account management for your city's partners
  • Meet monthly goals defined by the Sales Director
  • Coordinate the Sales Plans defined together with the Sales Operation Manager + Marketing team + Key Accounts Sales + Account Management team
  • Train and motivate the sales team


Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in high-performance sales
  • Previous work experience in a startup / high-demand environment is preferred
  • Sales hunger is a must! You may never take no for an answer.
  • Experience in training and motivating a sales team
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, strategic thinker, with strong leadership and business fundamentals
  • Strong communication abilities with the ability to influence and drive change
