​WFD, are now looking to recruit an experienced Programme Coordinator to support the development of its programmes based in Serbia.

​Location: Belgrade, Serbia

Contract details: ​Fixed Term Contract for Service from July 2024 – March 2025. Full-time.

Programme Coordinator - Serbia

The Programme Coordinator will support the Country Director and Programme Manager, driving programme activity and ensuring programme activities are delivered in line with donor requirements, with WFD’s operational procedures and work closely with head office teams in London.

They will provide support in planning and organising the delivery of programme activities as well as carrying out important operational duties. They will specifically provide logistical support, preparation and disseminate of project documentation. Assisting in the preparation of the narrative and financial reports, are among the core duties expected of the postholder.

The core skills and experience we are looking for are.

  • Experience working in a similar position and an understanding of; programme administration, evaluation and monitoring.
  • Preferred (but not essential) experience in public administration work
  • Knowledge of budgeting and bookkeeping.
  • Competent reviewing data and producing reports.
  • Exceptional planning and organisation skills and experience working to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and effectively plan and organise own workloads
  • Excellent written and spoken English and fluent in the dominate language of the country where the position is advertised.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 suite of Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Dynamics)
  • Educated to degree level or qualification OR significant experience.
  • Previous experience creating written and audio-visual content for social media, mainstream media, and web site.
