Health and Safety Assistant

Objective:

• Assists and creates HSE procedure in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Serbia and constantly updates the same. Analyses and proposes activities of Environment Security, in accordance with the official and company laws and regulations. Conducts the procedure of risk assessment at the workplace and working environment.
  

Key Responsibilities

•  Training employees
  
• Prepares and implements the training of employees for safe work.
  
• Monitoring
  
• Monitors and controls the implementation of measures for safety and health at work.
  
• Monitors the situation about injuries at work, as well as professional diseases and all others diseases related to work.
  
• Special projects:
  
• Other tasks as assigned.
  

Primary activities and tasks include the following, other duties may be assigned this is only example:

• Organizes preventive examinations and testing of machinery and equipment and working environment conditions
  
• Organizes medical exams, training for first aid and suggests organization of special trainings
  
• Keeps proper records and creates the necessary normative acts
  
• Fills the reports of injury at work and informs the competent authorities about injuries at work
  
• Engages authorized companies to perform the duties and inspection and testing of machinery and equipment and working environment conditions
  
• Cooperates with the competent inspection authorities
  
• Proposes measures to reduce the negative impact of the enterprise on the environment
  
• Engages authorized company for needed necessary measurements and tests in the field of environmental protection
  
• Engages authorized companies to perform testing and servicing of fire equipment and equipment and other testing in the field of fire protectio
• Prepares and implements the training of employees for fire protection
• Monitors and controls the implementation of measures for fire protection
  
• Monitors the introduction of new regulations related to scope of duties of HSE
  
• Creates HSE procedure in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Serbia and constantly updates the same
  
• Analyses and proposes activities of Environment Security, in accordance with the official and company laws and regulations
  
• Working on obtaining and guarantees the renewal of certificate ISO 14001 and OHSAS definition and follow annual plans
  
• Monitors and implements standards of ISO / IATF 16949
  
• Provides assistance in preparing Systematization, job descriptions, internal work regulations, procedures and other legal acts of the company
  

Reporting Responsibilities:

• This position reports to HSE Manager

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities
  

Education and/or Experience, Certificates:

• Bachelor degree in technical orientation or Natural and Mathematics field, or similar
  
• License for HSE
  
• License for fire protection
  
• Other strengths preferred (optional)
  
• Have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English (orally and in writing)
  
• High sense of responsibility
  

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
  
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to working in a team environment
