SS7 Implementation Engineer

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Sciences or software engineering related field
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Knowledge of GSM 2G/3G/4G networks and SMS technology
• Knowledge of networking, mobile and telecom technologies
• Good experience with SS7/SMS/MNP technologies
• Good knowledge of SMPP/ Sigtran protocols
• Experience with implementation and integration processes
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of 24/7 production environments
• Experience with Linux (Debian/CentOS) system administration
• Experience with monitoring system Grafana, Icinga
• Experience with SQL, Bash scripting
• Documentation skills
• Good Knowledge of AGILE principles
• Experience with Confluence, Jira
• Excellent English skills - both written and verbal

Considered a plus:

• Knowledge of SIP/ENUM/REST HTTP API protocols
• Knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, Redis or similar SQL/no-SQL databases

Role description:

• Implementation HORISEN SS7 SMS Platforms to our Customers
• Integration with new SCCP Carriers and Mobile Operators
• On daily basis do a monitoring of Signalling link connections and SS7 Platforms health
• Provide 2nd level of support to HORISEN Support team & external Customers
• Keep up to date all implementation documents (checklist, implementation & troubleshooting guidelines)
• Constantly participating in implementation process improving
