Senior Database Developer

REQUIREMENTS

Required skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in relational databases and SQL
  
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills, including:
• Knowledge of database design including data modeling and creation of all type of database objects
• Writing, analyzing, and debugging complex SQL statements
• SQL performance monitoring and tuning
• Contribute individually in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Experience in Oracle front end technologies (e.g. Forms/Reports) is not of interest
• Worked in Enterprise Business environments and with 24/7 live systems

NOTE: Job position will require daily work in Oracle database, but adequate knowledge and experience in MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL are acceptable for it.

Desirable skills:

• BS/MS in Mathematics, Electronics or similar Computer-Science university department
• Experience in database administration
• Experience in microservice development
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Experience with non SQL databases

Personal/Interpersonal skills:

• Excellent English writing and communication competence is a must
• Collaborate with team members and other business users
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and coordinate schedules with others
• Ability to work independently and conduct self-directed research
• Desire to learn new skills and improve existing ones
