Software QA Engineer

Job Description

• This person is responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan and executing the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, integration, performance, stability, regression, acceptance and compatibility with other legacy and / or external systems.

The candidate's job is to:

• Review functional and design specifications, identify test requirements, design test cases and scripts and finally, execute test plans
  
• Identify, track and report application defects in accordance with functional and detail design specifications
  
• Provide quality of a release and release management test procedures with a responsibility for internal testing phase
  
• Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
  
• Develop comprehensive automated tests for APIs, L&P and UI, both with manual tests to meet the business requirements

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent
  
• At least one year of experience in quality assurance including test case scripting and test execution
  
• Experience with Automated Testing using appropriate testing tools
  
• Familiarity with Java, C++, C# based solutions
  
• Understanding of financial markets and trading systems is a plus
• Good technical understanding
