We are looking for:
Senior Accountant Manager
The Senior Accountant managers the accounting of all financial transactions in accordance with the local regulatory and group requirements. He / she provide financial and operational analytical support to the Company Management including monthly financial analysis and presentation of actual results and forecast. In addition, this position works with top management structure of the company from Romania to develop and analyze operational improvements and cost reduction projects.
Performs full accurate and timely statutory accounting, in accordance with local fiscal and accounting regulations (recording, classifying, examining and analyzing of financial transactions).
Control the accuracy of the accounting documents that support the financial transactions, ensuring their compliance with local regulations and internal norms.
Prepares the financial statements required by local law and any others reports for local regulators, respecting the time limits required.
Makes month-end adjustments (accruals, provisions, etc.).
Performs month-end reconciliations with Inter-company suppliers and customers.
Ensure the required information for statutory audit.
Prepares reports for management, reporting financial condition.
In charge with company’s treasury activity: cash flow statements, cash pool, bank guarantees.
Apply the company cost reduction program across all the branches
Analyze customer profitability across all the branches
Formulating financial targets and budgets in accordance with the strategy determined by the board
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Very good knowledge of legal, accounting and financial aspects
Ability and interest to develop into a dynamic company
Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
Possess the ability to work with all levels of the organization
Have clear and concise communication skills
Must be an advanced MS Excel user and proficiency with accounting programs
Proven ability to perform ad hoc analyses
Ability to analyze data to detect inaccuracies
Well organized and ability to work under time-pressure
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
At least four years of Accounting or Finance experience is desired
Good knowledge of English/Romanian/German – speaking and writing
