Main responsibilities:
Performs independently in routine situations including troubleshooting, assisted if needed in order to resolve very difficult issues.
This role is performed by technical professionals who specialize in providing services to clients on software components.
Activities include operation and maintenance of operating systems across multiple platforms, middleware applications, various database technologies, high availability solutions and load balancing.
Requirements:
Compulsory:
Bachelor's Degree
At least 1 year experience in Windows
English: Intermediate
Preferred:
Master's Degree
At least 2 years experience in Windows
English : Fluent
Skills / experience required:
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
A minimum of 3 years (full time job) of MS Windows NT/2000/2003 server administration experience in large corporate environment (at least dozens of servers in different sites connected via WAN)
Very good knowledge in MS Windows NT/2000/2003 based infrastructure design and administration
Extensive skills and experience in problem determination, analysis and resolution
Designing and implementing of backup and disaster recovery concepts, high-availability and virtualisation solutions knowledge
Know-how in server based computing (Citrix, MS Terminal Services)
Scripting skills
IBM Tivoli products knowledge
Experience in HW design and troubleshooting (IBM, HP, COMPAQ, DELL)
Project management fundamentals knowledge
Communication, presentation and documentation skill
