As a Senior Software Configuration Manager you will be responsible for Software releases, designing and creating release packages, testing and deploying those for high availability retail environment. You will also be responsible for administration and maintenance of the Software Distribution tools (CA Unicenter).
The successful Senior Software Configuration Manager will possess the following:
A minimum 3-4 years of recent, professional experience in Configuration Management or Release Engineering.
Significant experience with an Enterprise Software Distribution tool or Retail Release Management experience.
Knowledge of SQL, query-writing, and relational databases.
Experience with commercial database products such as Oracle and MS SQL.
Experience using Remedy based call management systems.
Experience with Windows and VMware including some administrative capability on Windows with good Domain Management knowledge.
Experience using and administering software configuration management systems such as Computer Associates.
Standard/ basic scripting skills.
Familiarity with web technologies (XML, XSL, HTML, Web services, JSP etc.).
Knowledge of GUI and Web interfaces for different applications using HTML, DHTML, CSS and JSPs.
Familiarity with Client/Server technologies.
Fluent in English language.
