Job description:

Supporting the plant in the implementation of best practices and lean manufacturing
Use Lean techniques to perform process reviews and aid in establishing standardized work procedures
Assisting plant management and Continuous Improvement teams with planning and facilitating kaizen workshops, and other lean activities (5S, Standard work, SMED, etc.)
Coaching Kata and training associates in lean manufacturing and problem-solving principles (PDCA)
Be driver of lean mind set at all levels of the plant
Constant learning of new trends and practice in Lean manufacturing

Requirements:

Demonstrated understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts, and a thorough knowledge of lean principles, processes and tools (5S, Standard Work, Line Balance, SMED, etc.)
A demonstrated ability to get results by working through others
Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching and presentation skills
Strong customer service (internal and external) orientation
Able to see the big picture and to think outside the box
Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, and interpreting data for various reporting purposes
English B1 level (read/write/speak)
