Finance Manager

YOUR TASKS

Legal Administration

• Resolve issues and coordination between banks and other tax authorities (tax audits, housing, legal changes regarding Company)
• Manage outsourced functions if needed i.e. consultants in Finance, lawyers etc.
• Resolve vendors inquiries through telephone or written communication
• Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements
• Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed

Bookkeeping and Cost Controlling

• Manage accounting functions including general ledger transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other accounting projects to ensure efficient operations, workflows, accuracy and improved timelines
• Enforce accountable invoicing processes to deliver business results and maintain tight invoicing deadlines
• Reconcile bookkeeping with local tax regulation
• Reconcile bank accounts and vendor statements
• Conduct inter-company accounting
• Assist in year-end preparation and communicate with auditors  
• Contribute to the creation of the annual budget and other reporting statements
• Maintain files and documentation accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Deliver monthly reports to HQ per deadlines and respond to all questions from Group Controlling on trial balance load for Serbia

Treasury

• Direct cash management such as daily cash administration, management of current accounts and banking relationships
• Forecast cash flow for the office on a weekly/monthly basis and report to HQ
• Ensure that sufficient funds are available in time to meet ongoing operational expenses and salaries on time
• Monitor cash transactions and payments of invoices and complete a variety of reports related to banking transactions for management reviews and approval
• Weekly reporting to HQ on bank accounts balances

YOUR PROFILE

Required Skills:

• University degree in Business Administration (ideally with specialization in Finance/Controlling)
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar role in Finance or Controlling for an international corporation, with experience with a leadership role preferred
• In depth knowledge of IFRS and Serbian accounting principles
• Experience with budget planning, managing reporting processes and developing controlling standards
• Ability to develop, monitor and maintain management information systems and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of English language - full working proficiency
• Excellent MS-Office knowledge, especially in regards to MS Excel
• Commitment to working in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Serves as an Advantage:

• Experience in working in an international environment, preferably in IT industry
• Professional accountancy training
• Microsoft Navision Dynamics serves as an advantage
