Software QA Automation Engineer

Key skills:

• University or equivalent education
• Solid background in Software Testing, building functional automation tests for AJAX-based web applications
• Must have experience testing customer web applications using Selenium and Cucumber frameworks.
• Must have experience creating tests step definitions using Java
• Must have experience creating test features in a BDD style using Gherkin language
• Must have experience working in an Agile environment using Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration
• Experience working with software development tools including Source Control, Jira and Confluence
• Experience creating BDD style test definitions from defined acceptance criteria

Desired Skills:

• Executing automated tests on a variety browsers and simulators
• Familiar with non-functional testing such as load testing, performance and reliability testing
• Experience building automation pipelines for continuous testing
• Experience running automated tests directly on devices
