The position will be part of a global outsourcing team, already delivering Infrastructure and Application support services to our Client, a highly recognized Oil & Gas company based in Scandinavia. The successful candidate will be able, in a very dynamic and innovative environment, to gain a structured and documented view and understanding of key Client business processes (logistics, maintenance, rental, finance) and reverse engineer, from both the existing environment and how people operate today, how such processes are reflected in current supported systems and/or that should be reflected in new systems/systems functionality that the team will also engineer for the customer in the future.

Daily activities will include functional support (how-to), application operations (restarting jobs, manipulating SQL strings to bypass error conditions, etc.), learning courses and self-training, contribution to drafting, under expert supervision, proposals for landscape changes (from new application architecture to changes/upgrades to the Systems integration model currently in place).
