Senior Automation Engineer

Automation solutions for the industry. PLC/SCADA

We expect you to have the following professional profile:

• University degree in Automation engineering domain
  
• 5+ years of professional working experience
• Proficiency within the Siemens SIMATIC Step 7 Manager and TIA-Portal
• Proficiency within configuration and programming of SIMATIC controllers S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200 and S7-1500
• Proficiency within WinCC SCADA and HMI
• Knowledge of industrial networking (ProfiNet, Profibus, OPC, TCP/IP…)
  
• Knowledge of configuring field instruments and motor controllers
  
• Understanding PI and electrical drawings diagrams, blueprints, plans, schematics and specifications
  
• Driver license category B
  
• Fluent English
  

It is not essential but will be considered as an advantage if you have knowledge and experience within the following:

• Siemens SIMATIC S5
  
• Configuration and programming controllers other than Siemens (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi, ABB…)
  
• Distributed Control System (Siemens SIMATIC PCS 7 or other)
  
• Configuring and programming visualization systems other than Siemens (e.g. Wonderware InTouch)
  
• Creating PI and electrical drawings diagrams, blueprints, plans, schematics and specifications
  
• Recipe control
  
• Integration between ERP systems and production-plants

Responsibilities:

The main tasks in which you would be taking role are design, development and commissioning of Automation solutions for production sites. You would become part of our automation engineering team in Novi Sad closely cooperating with our departments in Denmark. The projects will vary in the team size and therefore it is essential that you’re able to work as member of big and small teams as well as to individually deliver the solution based on the customer requirements.

Therefore, we expect you to be able to understand complex problems within production processes and the customers’ internal business processes.

Most of the design and development work you would be performing in the office in Novi Sad but please note that you are expected to travel to the client sites for commissioning. Also, some consultations can require business trips to client or to our departments in Denmark.

The projects will vary a lot both content and solution wise and therefore your ability to acquire new knowledge and to switch and adapt to new assignments is essential, as well as your genuine interest in new technology.
