Objective:

Ensuring timely purchase acquisition of required State land and land rights in accordance with project deadlines, budgets and in alignment with Rakita’s policies and practices.


Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in area of Social Sciences, Technical sciences, Law, Real Estate Management, or Political Sciences
  • Special knowledge or previous experience related to Land Acquisition
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience
  • Excellent English Level
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and databases


Main responsibilities:

  • Participates in the process of negotiating contracts related to company’s operations planned on State-owned parcels
  • Follows procedures for demolition of structures purchased through the land acquisition process when necessary;
  • Keeps track of Land Acquisition-related field & community activities in the Project area, especially those regarding State-owned parcels
  • Conducts field work activities with Land Acquisition team and local staff, especially activities regarding State-owned parcels
  • Works with State representatives, private property owners and land users to verify identification/title/land related issues with support from contractors and team
  • Facilitating agreements for land acquisition
  • Following the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) and Land Acquisition and Resettlement Framework (LARF) to ensure proper consultation and disclosure at the community and government level, including all land acquisition activities
  • Provides adequate assistance to Senior Land Acquisition Manager in performing various activities regarding Land Acquisition, when necessary;
  • Liaise with Drill Team and ensure timely access to drill sites
  • Inputs various interaction records into Land Database
  • Provides necessary assistance regarding evaluator activities
  • Assist in developing and executing other State processes, as required
  • Reports timely and accurately to his superior and is responsible for data accuracy
